During casting when metals come to the cooling down phase, a decrease in the volume of crystal structures and sink marks inside the pieces occur. Therefore, the casting is fed with a sufficient amount of liquid metal in order to meet the required volumetric shrinkage. Feeder sleeves are manufactured with three different features.

Feeder sleeves decrease the amount of the unproductive metal that pours out by increasing the casting yield. So, while the quality and yield of the casting increases, the capacity of manufacture also increases.

Feeder Sleeves with High Exothermic Form

Because of their precision measurement, they can be used in high pressure automatic casting lines. They can be used in many castings such as steel, cast iron/nodular cast iron, and non-iron metals. During feeding the casting, exothermic feeders can be customized as open, blind and with customs shapes to be manufactured according to your needs.

Feeder Sleeves with Medium Exothermic – Insula7on Form

Feeder sleeves with medium exothermic – insulation forms are used especially in steel and nodular cast iron applications of casting where the module is higher than 2, when it is desired to increase the feeding performance provided by the isolation feature. The feeder sleeves that have a very high endurance are manufactured as cylindrical, oval and with a conical base that can be shaped up to 900 mm diameters.

Mini Risers

The most important feature that makes mini risers that have steel and nodular cast iron as their area of utilization different than other risers is that the 75-80% of the metal inside it is used to back it up. They are used in areas where the riser places are small. This type of products have thick sections and because of their low riser volume, they have a high exothermic feature. Because of their high exothermic features, mini risers continue working until the metal inside them reaches the minimum value. Risers have fixed pins, functional lids and special designs.

Exothermic Riser Powder

Exothermic riser powders are casting assistants. By cutting the connection between the riser and atmosphere, they decelerate the hardening speed of the riser. The aluminum and other oxidizing materials in the contents of the exothermic riser powders have an exothermic reaction when they contact hot metal and preserve the heat due to the insulation features. Since the required oxygen for oxidation is composed in their own structure, they make a homogeneous reaction. In a closed package and a dry environment, in 25 C, exothermic riser powders have a stock duration of 1 year.

Moldable Riser Powder

The powder that is casted in the shape of an empty cylinder are shaped with the help of coilers. The riser powder that is inserted inside feeder channels by igniting, outputs heat and burns. After the reaction ends, they provide active insulation. The stock duration of moldable riser powder that is kept in a closed package, dry environment and 25 C is 1 year.

Heat Insulation Materials with Ceramic Fiber Base

These products that are ceramic fiber based are manufactured with wet pressing, in different geometrical shapes. Their contact with fire is direct and they have a low temperature conductivity that can hold high temperature.

Depending on their field of application and desired features, products that contain alumina-silica fiber and calcium-magnesium silica fiber are recommended.
